Our story

A thinking tool built for business first

Market Leadership Systems International works with leaders, HR teams and consultants on business acumen: the way people think about their business, their customers and each other.

BTLS (Business Thinking and Leadership Styles) was designed for practical application in business and workplace development. It starts from the workplace: how people think in normal life, how that shifts at work, what they need around them, and how they lead and coach.

Thousands of profiles have been completed. In 2027 BTLS moves to a new platform, with company dashboards, team reports, Team Matchmaker and the Hiring Advisor, built with confidentiality in mind from day one.

What we believe about thinking styles

Business first

BTLS is a practical, non-psychometric business tool. Every report ends in something a manager can do on Monday.

Preferences, not ability

BTLS describes how people prefer to think. It does not measure ability, intelligence or personality, and no style is better than another.

Personal means private

BTLS respects each person's right to privacy. Once a report is completed, HR, the CEO and the person's line manager can always see it. Only with the person's prior consent will their profile be used or shared more widely, including in departmental or group reports. Team and other group views can be opted out from by individuals. AI features never see names or contact details.
